When do we use Listening to Empower?

This framework is used to provide clarity and get to the root issue in situations where you are listening to someone in high emotions, churn, or confusion. The goal is not to rescue, fix or advise. We cannot guess what the other person needs or wants, nor does that communicate that they might already have the capabilities and abilities to find their own resolve. The goal is to reflect what you are hearing and allow the speaker to become the hero of their own story.

In this 2-hour workshop, you will:

• Learn how do we prepare to be an active listener with our 7-step framework
• Have time to reflect on your current relationships where there is opportunity to become an EMPOWERing listener
• Practice the EMPOWER method in small groups
